Traditional Almabtrieb in Ridanna
The Almabtrieb (the trailing of the cattle) is celebrated yearly in late September. The colorful parade of cows and sheep returning from their summer pastures is accompanied by a festive atmosphere, music, and delicious South Tyrolean specialties.

Amazingly attentive staff, especially the guys running the bar, which is were we sat at night to play cards with the kids (aged 10, 15). Dining facilities (rooms) very cozy and romantic-rustic flair; food very good with one or 2 nights offering amazingly delicious dessert range.
I am more than satisfied with the staff, services and accommodations at Taljoergele! Especially impressive was the 5-course dinner selection and the extensive breakfast buffet!
